Music Express honor choir auditions will be held during your child's normal chorus rehearsal the week of November 18.
All interested fourth and fifth graders are welcome to audition. Fifth grade students who are already in Allegro honor choir do not need to audition.
Students who are invited to join Music Express must also participate in school chorus, school band or honor band.

Audition Requirements
Singing:
Students will also be asked to
- Echo (sing) notes back to Mrs. Bird with solfege hand signs. They have practiced this in class with Mrs. Bird.
- Sing the major scale going up from "do" to "do". They have practiced this in class with Mrs. Bird (see video below).
- Sing a 10-20 second section of any part of any one of the songs we are singing in our winter concert in December. They should choose a part of the song that they know well and feel comfortable singing.
- Sing "Happy Birthday" (see video below.)
