Allegro Audition Dates

Allegro auditions will be held after school the week of September 9th from 1:00-2:30.  Parents are welcome to wait with their child and then take them home or pick them up at 2:30 p.m. at the parking lot.

Monday:  Oak Mesa (MPR)
Tuesday: Grace Miller (Cafeteria)
Wednesday:  Shull (Cafeteria)
Thursday:  La Verne Heights (Auditorium)

All interested 5th graders are welcome to audition.  Students who are invited to join Allegro must also participate in school chorus, school band or honor band (Shull students may also participate if they are in drama or art).


Allegro Audition Requirements

Singing:

Students will also be asked to sing notes back to Mrs. Bird (echoing)

Students should be prepared to sing by themselves:
  • "Happy Birthday" (see video below)
  • "My Country 'Tis of Thee"​ (see video below) ​
  • Major Scale (see video below)
